Ashapuri Village home stay
Please support this special village development program by joining us for three days (or more). Receiving training in Nepali Language and culture by the host families are trained in health standards for foreigners, the program runs every day or weekend.
This is non governmental organization (NGO) sponsored program run by residents of village people. The majority of host families are in the village’s lowest income level people.
30% of your fee goes to a development fund for improving health environment and education in the village 40% goes directly to your family and 20% to the trainer/tour programmer, 10% for organization.
This village is located 20/35 km east of Kathmandu on the road of Bhaktapur/Dhlikhel. The village is also on the footpath to Ashapuri (holy place) and has views of the Himalayas on clear days.
We request to pack only minimal necessities for their short stay and dress conservatively (no shorts of tank tops please)

Day 01 |
Welcome arrival at tribhuvan Int’l Airport transfer to home / hotel. |
Day 02 |
Early morning drive to Bhaktapur City sightseeing after sightseeing by walk to Village. Welcome arrival drink and family introduction. Typical Nepali Lunch (dal bhat) after lunch visit to local brick factory and working life style back to home enjoy with Dinner with family. |
Day 03 |
Wake up call tea and coffee |
Day 04 |
Wake up call tea & coffee light breakfast, typical Nepali lunch, after lunch drive to back to Kathmandu transfer to hotel. |
