This Lang tang trek has been a wonderful experience for me, and I have enjoyed every minute!! The scenery is so beautiful and breathtaking, it was very had to come back to Kathmandu, to all the noise and so may people!! Didn't think I would be able to walk so far as far so long, but day-by-day I got better and stranger and felt quite fit at the end! At Last I had a good guide Mr. Amoj who along with potter Mr. Balaram took me along the interesting track! I recommend this trek to anyone who wants to experience Nepal!

Amoj K.C. provided Jean Williams and me with an absolutely fantastic tour throughout the areas of Nepal that we were most interested in.
Early on we had to make some changes to the schedule and order of locations to visit. Amoj was on top of it and quickly made the necessary adjustments and arrangements. His new suggestions were even better than we had hoped for. He was especially attentive to our desire to visit rural communities and assist us in seeking out educational opportunities that we could volunteer with in the future.
Jean and I have been on many tours throughout over 27 countries. We can honestly say that Amoj is one of the best guides we have had the privilege of working with. He was very knowledgeable of the areas we toured, such as Bhaktapur. His guided tours were all informative, appropriately paced and very interesting. He was always available with additional information when we needed it.
We will be recommending Explore Village Nepal and Amoj K.C. to our family, friends and colleagues back in the United States.
Never stop exploring.

We had a lot of fun In Nepal. I got to play with a goat fighting goat. We even hiked 8 hours up and down mountains. We saw a gold Statue of a Hindu God. The next day we went a temple Called the monkey temple.( Shyambhunath Stupa). I bought a juice at the entrance and when I went in a Monkey took the Juice right out of my hand then we stayed the night at our Guide’s house. Then we got on a bus to Chitwan. Man was it nice there we stayed in a resort. There was market 10 minute away. We did an elephant back Safari, Canoeing, and Jungle Walk. Then we got back on the bus and went to Pokhara. In pokhara we canoed a cross a lake .and hiked to the world Peace Stupa, we also went Mountain Biking lake side it was a lot of fun.

"What a fabulous way to end an incredible first visit to Nepal.
Dear General, your work is such an inspiration, and your place is so beautiful! Thanks to you and your superb staff, we learned so much and experienced so much more!"

"Our very favorite place of all those we stayed at was Aashapuri village. There was world of difference between this and the organized tourism we found in Nepal. People were very attentive and kind and the food was so nice and well prepared. It was great just to be able to hang out and on the first morning we enjoyed just being with children. Amoj was a great guide always willing to engage in conversation about the locality, village life and culture. It was so good to get to meet local people on our walks and be able to visit the heart of life in the valley. We left Aashapuri little sad in our hearts - a sign I think that it was possible to get to know people just a bit in a short space of time - enough to glimpse their lives and have a hope for their future wellbeing".

"It was the end of a most happy home stay. Even writing a diary such as this cannot capture the multitude of little things that warmed my heart and made me happy. It was a most memorable visit made wonderful by so many special people. It was very sad to say goodbye to Amoj (Chetri host) I had tears in my eyes and a lump in my throat as I departed."
"Not only was everything well organized but the hospitality and friendliness of everyone who we were with was outstanding. I also want to say how much we enjoyed staying in the Samthar village area, both at Ghale gaon and at Amoj' homestead. That whole experience, including the visit to the Bhujung and sun Shine school was extremely enjoyable and informative. I want to wish you well with your efforts in relation to the school as well as to the other development work you have initiated in that village".
